Hey, it’s Mel
As a parenting consultant, I specialize in supporting families with children ages 1-10. In my 8 years of Montessori classroom teaching, I helped hundreds of children and their families overcome a wide range of challenges.
While I loved my time as a teacher, managing an entire classroom of children limited the individual attention I could provide individual families. Now, I bridge the gap between school and home, offering parents judgment-free support and assistance in fostering healthy habits.
As I build my initial roster of families, I’m offering special rates for both in-person and phone sessions. I’d love to schedule a brief call to learn more about your family and explore how my services might be able to help your family thrive.
What is a parenting consultant?
Parenting is arguably the most important and challenging job we’ll ever take on, yet most do it with little if any formal training or guidance.
Imagine having a personalized, expert resource to turn to for processing and feedback, someone who understands you and your family’s unique situation and is dedicated to helping you navigate the ups and downs of raising children.
In our busy lives, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of advice out there. Books, podcasts, and social media can offer great tips, but they can’t replace the one-on-one support that a consultant provides. My role is to help you cut through the noise and find the strategies, routines, and communication that will work specifically for your family.
How can I help?
Behavior Management:
Transitions, School Drop-Offs, Sleep Challenges, Establishing morning and after school routines
Emotional Support:

Home Structure Support:
Child-Conscious Home Design, Organization for Independence, Meal Planning
